8 Week Cycling Supercharge!
Feeling fat, slow and unmotivated? Or maybe you’re tired of getting spit out the back of group rides or struggle to survive every climb. You’re not alone.
If your fitness failed to blossom this spring, there’s still time to kickstart your training, shed some weight and move closer to your cycling goals.
While it’s easy to set lofty goals or buy a smaller pair of cycling shorts, it’s much tougher to hatch a plan and then follow through each week.
That’s why we’ve created an easy-to-follow, done for you training plan designed to dust off the winter cobwebs and ignite your fitness. With the support of a group and an expert cycling coach guiding you every step of the way, you’ll learn exactly how to ride stronger, leaner and take the necessary steps to smash your upcoming goals.
You can purchase with this link or read on for more details:
The 8 Week Cycling Supercharge includes:
- At the end of each week, you’ll receive the next week’s training plan with detailed workout instructions. This provides you with enough time to plan and ask any questions. Each week is structured, periodized and builds on the previous week.
- As a member of a private Facebook group, you’ll be able to post any questions or concerns. You’ll also have access to Coach Rob. Here you’ll be able to share your victories, struggles and cheer each other on as we all train together. You can also post your goals here and we’ll do a weekly check-in. If you need accountability, this is the place for it!
- Coach Rob will do a weekly Facebook live, where he will talk about different aspects of training and answer any specific questions you have. If you can’t make the live, there will be a place to post your questions beforehand. All the lives will be available for replay later and archived for future reference.
- As an added bonus, we'll include Tailwind Coaching's Zone 4/5/6/7 Power Testing protocol for those of you who are training with power. If you don't have a power meter yet, you can save the program for when you do and use it to get a handle on your fitness.
Having a goal ﹘ be it weight loss or riding your first gran fondo ﹘ is a great first step, but without an action plan, you’re destined for the broom wagon. A periodized training plan sets you up for success and, best of all, it won’t leave you guessing if you’re riding hard enough, overtraining or doing the correct interval. You’ll also learn how to avoid falling into the training dead zone, which leaves you with tired legs, but lacking fitness.
- How to find your training zones with power or a heart rate monitor
- Tips to recover faster
- Why you train different intensities, cadences, and speeds
- How you can use this training program over and over and over again to build more and bigger fitness
What you’ll need for the program:
- A heart rate monitor or, even better, a power meter.
- A Facebook account
- The desire to learn and support other cyclists in the group
- All workouts can be completed inside or out
Ready to supercharge your fitness? The program officially launches May 21st. In an effort to fully support those who are serious about hitting their goals, we’ll be closing the program after we hit our enrolment cap.
