If you dream of standing atop the podium in the “race of truth” then you've found the ticket there. Designed for those looking to improve their time trialling prowess (or those who just want to get a boost to their FTP), the Time Trial Module will push you to the limits of your physiological fitness. Designed to increase FTP and build efficiency, you'll get 8 weeks of high intensity work and technique building drills.
Time Trial Module:
- 8 total weeks of training (6 interval weeks and 2 rest weeks)
- 6-8 hours/week of total training
- Progressively increasing training stress
- Learn fatigue resistance and the ability to go into the red and recover at threshold.
- Build power in your TT position
- Combine with my Full Season Training Solution or Advanced Full Season Training Solution for a complete training program.
For those cyclists who have years under their belt and are looking for that last 1% of improvement, here's the base plan for you. Designed to improve your efficiency in multiple positions, under many different pedal tensions and cadences, this 12 week base module is significantly harder than my standard base plan. Rest time is reduced, intervals are more varying and often more intense and volume is increased.
Recommended only for advanced cyclists!
Advanced Base Module:
- 12 total weeks of training (10 interval weeks and 2 rest weeks)
- 4.5-7.5 hours/week of total training
- Progressively increasing training stress
- Learn efficiency in multiple positions
- Become comfortable in the drops and out of the saddle
- Designed to work in conjunction with my Raw Strength Module for a complete base training solution.
It's no secret that the strongest cyclists spend time in the gym. Lifting weights not only builds neuromuscular strength, it builds muscular endurance and fitness on a physiological level that can be easily translated into cycling prowess.
The Raw Strength module includes the following:
- 9 weeks of training (1 “setup” week and 8 workout weeks)
- Excel and .PDF files (Excel file contains links to exercise descriptions)
- Progressive micro-loading creates constant progression
- Reverse pyramid design creates neuromuscular and physiological muscle strength gains
- Designed to slot directly into the first 8 weeks of my Base Module
Training plan support is designed to be used with any of my downloadable training plans. It is not a substitute for individual coaching, and is only designed to help you implement your downloadable training plans to the best of your ability. It is also designed to answer any in-depth questions athletes may have and to allow for minor modifications to downloaded training plans based upon athlete necessity.
